The population on Earth is currently on course for an Extinction Level Event (ELE) that will cause massive destruction world-wide and loss of life for more than 93% of the world’s population. It is important to realize than an ELE does not have to be some sudden cataclysmic event. It is simply an event that is responsible for the loss of most human life on a world-wide scale. The current medical tyranny imposed by government on the world’s population will be seen as an ELE in the not too distant future. The scriptural, scientific and circumstantial evidence is overwhelming that such an event is on the horizon, and we would be foolish to ignore these warnings and not prepare when there is a viable solution for comfortable survival and prosperity. In fact, it is now possible to change the trends of time that are leading to the ELE. This book is for those who have the vision and inspiration to do what is necessary to not only help stop this ELE from happening but to also do their part to usher in a new age for Mankind.

The information contained in this book began formulating in my awareness in 1979 and has now reached a state of completeness where it can be shared. Some may be in opposition to this way of thinking, especially those whose life paradigm does not include the concepts of karma and reincarnation. I urge you to lay aside all preconceived notions of what the truth of life may be according to your belief system and keep an open mind as you read this book. It is not my intention to convert anyone to a new religion, or start a religion, but rather to simply put forth the truth as I have come to know it after all these years of study and research.

In addition to detailed information about the coming ELE, I also present a solution that will stop this ELE from happening and simultaneously bring in a new age of peace, prosperity, progress and happiness for the entire Human Race and everyone alive today.

We begin with an overview of what our universe is from a perspective that is outside of our universe. We will come to know how our universe is structured, and an overview of the great epochs that have passed and will be coming. Then we drill down to the current time and investigate the changes and specific events that are highly probable for us in the next few years. Finally, I offer a holistic solution to the problems that we all now face and are likely to face in the next few years.

The title “Returning to Goloka” captures the essence of this book. Goloka is the Real world that exists outside of our temporal universe. Goloka is the model for every universe. It is the ideal and real world where all is perfection, acceptance and universal love. Goloka is the eternal, never-changing Absolute aspect of existence that underlies the ever-changing relative aspect that we know as our universe. The perfection of Goloka was once the reality of our universe, at the first day of the creation of the universe, and the perfection of Goloka comes again to be the reality of our universe with the dawning of each new “Day of Brahma.” We live now in an unprecedented time of transition into a new epoch that will again be reflecting the perfection of Goloka – we are returning to Goloka.

Returning to Goloka

Chapter 1.
The Cycles of Time

There are various accounts of the age and origin of our universe from ancient scriptures and scientific theories. I have studied many of them, including Creationism from the Christian Tradition, Creationism from the Vedic Tradition, Catastrophism, and Darwinism, and also researched this topic in consciousness using the technique of Samyama on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali[1]. The mind is our best research instrument. This is because our universe is made of consciousness. Consciousness is a mysterious term that defies a simple definition. We could say it is the quality of the state of awareness of something within oneself. It is the “content” of the mind. But then what is the mind? Mind is a tool of consciousness, and it is made of consciousness.

Consciousness is the fundamental substratum of all there is in this universe. Everything exists in a sea of consciousness, and everything is made of consciousness. Consider bubbles in the ocean. What is the bubble made of? Water, just as the ocean is made of water. Everything is like a bubble in the ocean of consciousness. If we look at one thing, one bubble, it is found to be just a modification of consciousness. How do we research something in consciousness? Using the mind, through the process of meditation. By turning our awareness inward, applying the Samyama technique of meditation, and with a specific intent to know something, that thing can be known.

The Vedic Literature is the written record of the knowledge and experiences of Veda Vyasa, who composed the Vedas and the Puranas, and his son Shuka who composed the S’rîmad Bhagavatam.

Vyasa composed the Vedic Literature in written form to help the people of this age to understand something about the world in which they live. In the present age, known as Kali yuga, the intelligence of Man is very dim, in comparison to previous ages where it was much greater and nothing had to be written down. Everything was known directly in consciousness at first, then in subsequent ages the knowledge was passed down from person to person by telepathic and verbal communications. Now, the intelligence of Man is so weak that we need crutches in the form of books and writings to refer to and guide us along the correct path of understanding our world.

Vyasa lived on earth during the time of the Mahabharata. This was about 3100 BC during the latter part of the previous age known as Dwapara yuga.

Krishna Golden Age within the Life of Brahma

The Vedic Literature provides the oldest and most accurate account of the origin and development of our universe. Herein we find Vedic Creationism that paints a true picture of the life of our universe. Vedic Creationism breaks the life of our universe into unimaginably long time periods, with the whole of the life of the universe being 311.04 trillion years.

The characteristics of each age or Yuga are given, in particular with reference to the human race. After all, the entire Universe was created fore and is maintained for the benefit of the human race (Quite contrary to what we are told by the global elite and their “modern science”.) From the Vedic Literature we know the universe operates on a very large time scale divided into “Days of Brahma”.

In the image on the previous page that depicts the Life of Brahma (our Creator), we can find our current time near the bottom, near the start of Kali yuga, just before the Krishna Golden Age. We tend to think that only people with physical bodies are “real” and the invisible (to our physical eyes) beings are sort of imaginary or creatures of the mind. Actually, human beings have five bodies and with our subtler bodies we can directly interact with these beings, but most of us do not know how to use the other four.

This image is a graphic that illustrates the 5 bodies or Koshas that every human being has, they are:

Five Koshas

  1. anamaya kosha: the body of ana or food - the physical body of skin, bones, tissues, etc. This body is our vehicle for experience in the physical realm.
  2. pranamaya kosha: the body of prana or energy. Prana is that subtle non-physical substance which is responsible for all transmutation of physical matter. We should understand prana as that which causes chemical reaction, and chemical reaction is the process which transmutes one physical substance into another. The pranamaya kosha of one person is different from the pranamaya kosha of another like one whirlpool in the river is different from another. Both whirlpools are made of the same water, but if we study the two different whirlpools we will see differences between them. Like this, my pranamaya kosha and your pranamaya kosha are made of the same prana but they are different. This body is our vehicle for experience in the Astral realm.
  3. manomaya kosha: the body of manas or mind. Manas is the cause of all movement in prana. When manas is still, prana is still. When manas is active, prana is active. With this body, we experience existence in the lower Celestial realm.
  4. vijñanamaya kosha: the body of vijñana or intellect. Vijñana is the seat of the knowledge of the parts or components of what makes an individual unique. The upper Celestial realm is experienced via this body.
  5. anandamaya kosha: the body of ananda or bliss. There is only one anandamaya kosha in the realm of Lord Brahma, which is shared by all, in a state of relative Unity. With this body, we experience the reality that we are the entire Universe, we are Brahma - "Aham Brahmasmi"

The Creator of our Universe is a Celestial Being who resides in the highest Celestial Realm and we know Him as Lord Brahma. He lives for 311.04 trillion years, and this is the length of time that our Universe exists. Our Universe is like a dream in the Mind of the Creator and we are like His dream creatures. The progenitor of Lord Brahma is the Transcendental Celestial Being known as Lord Narayana. It is Lord Narayana who instructs Lord Brahma to create the Universe by performing Samyama on the primordial sounds of the Rig Veda. The Rig Veda is the collection of mantras, recorded for us by Vyasa, that are used to create a Universe. There are 432,000 mantras in the Rig Veda, which is divided into 10 mandalas or chapters. The sounds of mandalas 1 through 8 create everything in the Universe except for Man and Consciousness. The sounds of the 9th mandala create perfect human bodies and the 10th mandala creates the consciousness that we experience as our lives.

So this is interesting! Earlier we wrote that everything is made of consciousness and now write that the 10th mandala creates the consciousness that we experience as our lives. Consciousness creates consciousness. Here is where we have to understand there are two values of consciousness: 1) Absolute Consciousness and 2) Relative Consciousness.

Everything that Lord Brahma creates is Relative to the Absolute. The Absolute is the real or eternal aspect of Consciousness and the Relative is the unreal or temporal aspect of consciousness. We define that which is Absolute as that which never changes, and is eternal and immortal. Relative is a projection of the Absolute, like a reflection in a mirror is not the object but it has the appearance of the object.

When Lord Brahma performs His grand meditation, which takes Him thousands of years, the entire universe, complete with His “mind born children” – the first people – comes into being. The first Day of Brahma begins. The universe is a paradise that is modeled after the Absolute Paradise known as Goloka. The first mind born children of Brahma (arising from His Samyama on the 9th mandala of the Rig Veda) have perfect, fully developed minds and bodies. For example, today the normal IQ is about 100 but on this first Day of Brahma the normal IQ is 100,000. Now, we struggle to live just in the physical realm for no more than 100 years, but on the first Day of Brahma, the people have the perfect physiology to live for 100,000 years.

Let’s look at the different time periods or eras that the universe passes through with some characteristics of each era. This information comes from the Vedic Literature (S’rîmad Bhagavatam[1]) and has been verified by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi[2] (Commentary on Chapters 1-6 of the Bhagavad Gita[3]), and many others including my personal research. The universe is about halfway through its 311.04 trillion-year lifespan at this time. This Day of Brahma in which we exist, is divided into 4 eras or yugas:

  1. 1. SATYA-YUGA – duration of 1,728,000 years. The population begins with the perfected, godly, mind-born children of Lord Brahma (the Creator), who subsequently procreate and populate the earth. Average human life span is 100,000 years in this yuga. These human bodies have 100% of fully functional DNA and life is realized in its full potential. There is no “hardware” or computer based technology - all technology is mantra based.
  2. 2. TRETA YUGA - also called the silver age, lasts 1,296,000 years. The average life span is 10,000 years and the godly qualities decrease one fourth compared to the Satya yuga. Human bodies have 80% functional DNA and life is lived at less than full potential.
  3. 3. DVAPARA YUGA - or the bronze age, lasts 864,000 years. Godly qualities are reduced to 50% by now and the average life expectancy is only 1,000 years. Human bodies have 40% functional DNA and life is lived with dependency on hardware technologies, and shelters are constructed for protection from harsher environments.
  4. KALI YUGA - the iron age of hypocrisy, deceit, and quarrel lasts 432,000 years. Very few of the population exhibit the qualities of devotion to God and life expectancy is only 100 years. Human bodies have less than 20%[4] functional DNA, and that will continue to decline, and life is lived in ignorance of its full potential. There is almost total dependency on hardware technologies just to sustain life. It reaches the extreme known as the "singularity" when computers have greater than human intelligence and machines actually dominate - to the extreme in which the human body is replaced totally by robotic machines and human consciousness is somehow “hosted” by these machines.

Within this Kali yuga period, at this exact time, we are entering a rare reset period of Satya yuga. This 10,000-year bubble of Satya yuga (or Krishna Golden Age) is depicted in the image by the picture of Goloka in the image above.

The Krishna Golden Age

We have introduced the concept of a 10,000-year bubble of Satya yuga (or Krishna Golden Age), so this requires some explanation. First, who is Krishna? From the Vedic Literature (S’rîmad Bhagavatam) and personal experience, we know that Krishna is the Supreme Personality of God. He resides in the Absolute realm of Goloka, which is outside of our universe. Our universe is actually not “real” in the sense of something permanent. It is “relative” or ever changing. Underlying our universe is something that is Real, eternal and never changing. We call this the Absolute. Within the Absolute, we find Goloka and Krishna and His eternal companions. The topic of Krishna is vast and we will not attempt to go into it in detail here. The interested reader is referred to the S’rîmad Bhagavatam for this information. Krishna is not a concept, He is a Real Person and can be known personally, if one is so inclined.

Krishna incarnated in human form at about 3181 BC and lived on earth for 150 years (see the S’rîmad Bhagavatam for the full story). When He was leaving the Earth at the end of His Incarnation, at about 3031 BC, at the start of Kali yuga, He made a prediction. We find this prediction in the Brahma-vaivarta Purana, 4th Khanda, Chapter 129, 49-60:

Verse 49

bhagarathy uvaca
he natha ramanashreshtha
yasi golokamuttamam
asmakam ka gatishcatra
bhavishyati kalau yuge

Translation: Ganges said: O protector, Supreme enjoyer, on your departure for Goloka (the perfect abode), thereafter what will be my situation in the age of kali?

Verse 50

S’rî-bhagavan uvaca
kaleh pancasahasrani
varshani tishtha bhutale
papani papino yani
tubhyam dasyanti snanatah

Translation: The blessed Lord said: On the earth 5,000 years of kali will be, and sinful and sinners will deposit their sins in you by bathing.

Verse 59

kaler dasha-sahasrani
madbhaktah santi bhu-tale
ekavarna bhavishyanti
madbhakteshu gateshu ca

Translation: Then, for 10,000 years of kali, devotees of Mine will fill the Earth. After the departure of My devotees there will only be one varna.

Verse 60

madbhaktashunya prithivi
kaligrasta bhavishyati
etasminnantare tatra

Translation: Devoid of My devotees, the earth will be [again] shackled by kali. Saying this Krishna departed.

From this we know that after about 5,000 years of Kali yuga (we have been in Kali yuga for 5,051 years as of 2020), we can expect a reset on earth to a time when all people on earth will know Krishna. Basically, during this time that is coming very soon, God will not be some mysterious, invisible Being that “lives in the sky and is always watching us but does not answer clearly when we try to talk to Him” but instead will be known to everyone as a real Being who does answer clearly and with whom everyone can have a personal relationship. Such a time is found only during Satya yuga, so this 10,000-year period must be a time of Satya yuga. Maharishi said in 1970 (5,001 years into Kali yuga) that He saw the “dawning of the Age of Enlightenment,” and this time of universal Enlightenment will last for 10,000 years. In 1975 Maharishi made a world tour to inaugurate the Dawn of the Age of Enlightenment and predicted the entire world would become an Ideal Society of the Enlightened, or what we call The Krishna Golden Age.

To temporarily end Kali yuga and bring in the dawn of Satya yuga, there is always a pralaya or transitional phase. At the end of the lifetime of Lord Brahma, there is a major destruction of the entire universe – absolutely nothing remains. At the end of each Day of Brahma, there is a major pralaya that separates the end of Kali yuga from the start of the new Satya yuga. This is a period of almost total destruction; like when waking from a dream, one only has the memory of the dream. But like a recurring dream the next Day of Brahma dawns as a renewed dream, starting with Satya yuga and a new population of mind born children of Brahma.

Today we are alive to witness an incredible empowerment of a large number of people on Earth that will culminate in the reset of Kali Yuga to continue on course for the next 427,000 years, without the need for a destructive pralaya. To effect such a dramatic change in world collective consciousness will require the participation of at least one million people in a coherent collective consciousness, all seeking to Realize the Highest State of Consciousness in this Universe; Brahman Consciousness.

Changing the Dream to permanently eliminate the need for a pralaya now is a daunting task. But the alternative of a pralaya that will end the lives of billions is not acceptable to us when we have the technology available today for a permanent solution.

Nevertheless, it would not be prudent to ignore the possibility that even this lesser Goal will not be achieved, and Humanity will be faced with a pralaya, being done to provide a “reset” so that the current Day of Brahma does not end prematurely. We have 427,000 years of Kali yuga to go in this Day of Brahma! Man has declined into a state of ignorance, decadence and deceit that threatens the very existence of this Day of Brahma.

Ekam Vitara Network to Eliminate the Pralaya

How is it possible to raise the Level of Consciousness of the entire Human Race? Fortunately, we now have the solution at hand with the Ekam Vitara Network. The Ekam Vitara Network is a collective consciousness field that influences the entire populate of the Earth. The collective consciousness of the world determines if the world is at peace and is a place of prosperity, happiness and progressive life for all.

Ekam Vitara

The mission of the Ekam Vitara Network is to empower one million people to achieve higher states of consciousness and ultimately many could experience Brahman Consciousness. The collective consciousness that is formed by these one million people is the basis for an entirely new way of living for everyone on Earth. Everyone will participate in and enjoy a new era of world peace, prosperity, love and happiness.

Brahman Consciousness is the highest state of consciousness in this universe. Everyone in the Ekam Vitara Network could achieve this state of consciousness. One who lives in Brahman Consciousness is literally the Divine incarnate, always acting in perfect accord with all the Laws of Nature and radiating a life supporting and uplifting influence to everyone he or she contacts.

Your current Level of Consciousness could be understood as a snapshot of your starting point so that not only can the Ekam Vitara Network generate the proper frequencies that will help you the most, but also you can look back later and see how you are developing on to higher levels. You join the Network from whatever Level of Consciousness you are at and enjoy a smoother ride (you will experience more happiness, more abundance, better health, and greater fulfillment of desires along the way) with the help of the Network.

The Ekam Vitara Network can accelerate your growth of consciousness and enjoyment of life. We all live in a perfect Universe of Abundance, Happiness, and Perfect Health. But our karmic traces are like bars on a cage that we are trapped in - unable to experience the Freedom and Fulfillment that is our birthright. The Ekam Vitara Network empowers you to break free of this cage and come out into the delightful sunshine of Enlightenment.

The significance of the Ekam Vitara Network cannot be overstated. In Chapter 7 we will explore all the details of this tool for empowering humanity to collectively rise to higher levels of consciousness and all will enjoy a happier, more progressive and peaceful life.

Goloka Sanctuary Communities to Thrive

Goloka Community Logo

In addition to the Ekam Vitara Network, The Goloka Project is establishing 1,000 luxury holistic health spa communities (Goloka Sanctuary Communities – Chapter 7) around the world to actualize the Satyug Kaya Kalpa Programme and enable one million to establish their Satyug Physiology (see Chapter 8) in the highest level of Moksha. When the pralaya is over, one million vital, healthy, youthful, enlightened Vedic Masters will emerge from the Communities to lead the world into the Satyug Age of bliss, prosperity and enlightenment for all of humanity.

Krishna, through His expansion as Lord Vishnu, is the aspect of the Divine who maintains the universe created by Lord Brahma. Anytime the universe begins to “go off the rails,” Lord Vishnu will step in to restore it to the prescribed path. The Ekam Vitara Network and Goloka Sanctuary Communities are examples of such interventions to save the Day of Brahma from prematurely ending. Like a rain shower to bring an end to a drought so that the land may again bring forth food, a period of empowerment for the entire Human Race is coming to remove the negative influences and allow a new era of happiness, peace and perfection for Man to bloom.

[0] Patanjali lived between 2nd and 4th century CE. He recorded, in his tretise Yoga Sutras, a system for fully understanding the Universe and our place in it. Deepak Chopra subtitles this famous work "How to Know God." The technique of Samyama that Patanjali teaches is the same meditation technique used by the Creator of our Universe to create our Universe directly from consciousness.

[1] The Bhagavata Pura?a (also Srimad Bhagavata Maha Pura?a, Srimad Bhagavatam or Bhagavata) is one of Vedic Literatures eighteen great Puranas (Mahapuranas, great histories). Composed in Sanskrit and available now in many languages, it promotes Krishna integrating theme from the Advaita (monism) philosophy of Adi Shankara

[2] Maharishi Mahesh Yogi (12 January 1918 – 5 February 2008) was born Mahesh Prasad Varma and became known as Maharishi (meaning "great seer") and Yogi as an adult. He developed the Transcendental Meditation technique and was the leader and guru of a worldwide organization.

[3] The Bhagavad Gita (lit. "Song of the Lord"), often referred to as simply the Gita, is a 700-verse text in Sanskrit that is part of the epic Mahabharata (chapters 25 - 42 of the 6th book of Mahabharata).

Dear Visvamitra,
I've been interested in intentional communities for some time now. I've lived in a few over the years. Having come across New Goloka this is very encouraging to see more communities coming together in order to develop higher conscious living. I hope to visit soon.
In studies on Time Cycles, its fascinating to understand that creation(manvantara) and destruction(pralaya) go hand in hand. So when we see minor or major ELE events taking place, why should we be so concerned when, Lord Krsna descends to always save the situation, and bring the two colliding forces of good and evil to balance again. If as a human stock we fall into alignment with the Will of God, then all will proceed as natural development as the Yugas descend and ascend throughout the Day of Brahma. On the level of the this planetary scale, our solar system revolves around the Procession of Equinoxes , a zodiacal age of some 24,000 to 26,000 thousand years. I would attribute this a smaller wheel within the greater Kali Yuga wheel of 432,000 years. For 24,000 years will revolve 18 times within 432,000, with any left over time frames due to sandhis, or between times. The same applies to greater Yuga Ages as well. The Zodiac Ages ascend and descend by degrees like gradual evolutionary impulses, and likewise evolve and devolve with the wheel of life and death turning endlessly. Hence, wheels within wheels as our galaxy spins, will certainly influence the way life and consciousness progress. With cataclysmic events taking place on this planet, there is no doubt that this is a naturally reoccurring thing. Why then, are we so concerned with saving the world, when its already a prearranged Lila of the Supreme Lord. Rather, it's so much more vital to just align ourselves with Sanatan Dharma, even in darker times such as these. Still, we will be ascending due to the current stream that we are in, as the Ascending (Dwapara)Age of Aquarius dawns, and Acending(Kali) Pisces Age fades. However, whatever this transforming power of Krsna will be like, it certainly will usher in a Higher State of Being.

My question is the reach of the four Yugas. Are they localized to each earth plane in a single Hiranyagarbha, or across all Hiranyagarbhas at the same time? And do they simultaneously occur in some or all of the Lokas above and below the earth plane?
You said that during various dissolutions, I retreat in my absolute body within a high Hiranyagarbha Loka until it’s time to come out, which would confirm that some Lokas within the Hiranyagarbha are isolated from the Yuga activity. Also, I thought you mentioned an exact number of golden eggs, but I can't find it again.
Thanks. There’s so much charm in details :)

Dear Jim,

There are nearly infinite Hiranyagarbhas in the Karana Ocean and each one is unique but following a pattern similar to our universe. All jivas who do not achieve Moksha during the 311.04 trillion years of this universe will retire back to the Body of Narayana until the next universe comes forth. Narayana is eternal and beyond the universes. During lesser dissolutions, at the end of Kaliyuga, all jivas, both those who have attained Moksha and those who have not, wait out the resumption of the new day of Brahma in the higher lokas within this universe. But it is important to realize that we are describing a dream in the Mind of Lord Brahma. Dreams are notorious for not being consistent and reliable. These neatly packaged yugas and kalpas are basically just examples of what is likely to happen the colossal dream we call this universe. The ego wants to label and categorize and "understand" the unfathomable. You may find the Yoga Vasistha a valuable resource - be sure to read the full version, about 1,800 pages, because there is considerable important detail left out in the abridged versions. We offer the full version here: https://www.srivyuha.org/yogavasistha

"From my experience, Jyotish is somewhere in the middle. It shows "the direction the wind blows" in a life. It gives tendencies that have a higher chance of coming true."

My understanding about Jyotish is similar.

On a Dasha,
when the chart owner puts his attention to the qualities that Dasha Lord indicates, he gets better result from that activity than before or after that particular Dasha.

That can be applied also to the Bhavas that Dasha Lord owns and aspects and where it is sitting.
Rafael Santamaría, Spain , September 23, 2015 at 11:41 AM | Reply
Dear Visvamitra.

I remember a Maharishi, talking about the importance of Jyotish to prevent natural disasters in the countries. He said that through Jyotish could know when a country would be affected by any of the elements, water, fire ... and then take the necessary measures to reverse the disaster.

It is strange that we have not contemplated the possibility of diagnosis and prevention of a global disaster of such magnitude through Jyotish. A good study of the countries should show this possibility, quantifying the magnitude, extent, and the most likely date of the event.
Sri Visvamitra, Cedar Crest, NM, United States , September 23, 2015 at 5:35 PM | Reply
Dear Rafael,

Jyotish is 100% accurate in Satyug, but in Kaliyug the accuracy is extremely diminished to less than 20% at the present time. Now the accuracy is very poor so Jyotish is not an effective predictive tool in this age, especially when one tries to apply it to collective consciousness. Consider the problems of trying to understand with perfection the karma of 7 billion people simultaneously and then performing the massive yajña that will neutralize this karma. Maharishi tried for many years to get 7,000 people together in the US to stop this country from provoking evil throughout the world and out of the entire world's population, there were not 7,000 to be found - on average barely over 1,000 would come. It would be possible to stop this disaster if the collective consciousness of the world was such that is would support it, but unfortunately it is not. So now we face the inevitable destruction that will pave the way for the Krishna Golden Age.

Some people like to say "It is God’s Will which operates everywhere and at all times. It is infallible. It is the only Truth. It is the only Power. Behind the actions of the good man and the bad man, behind the movement of birds and insects, behind the erupting volcano and the rumbling earthquake, behind all growth and decay, behind everything everywhere, the propelling force is God’s Will. "

This is highly inaccurate in Kaliyug. God's Will is predominate in Satyug but every time it is "over-ridden" by a human free-will action, that action generates polluting karma that weakens Natural Law (God's Will) until by the time we are in Kaliyuga, Natural Law is at less than 25% active - this is the reason we have the age of ignorance and deceit.

In Kaliyuga, "Behind the actions of the good man" might be God's Will, but definitely behind the actions of the bad man is that man's karma which may be totally opposed to Natural Law.

The disasters coming for the world today are caused by the collective karma of the population and can no longer by stopped.

Previously, you indicated a forthcoming cataclysmic event to result in relatively little loss of life. It seems this has changed according to your recent post, which begs a question I previously raised - why would a 90% loss of life not have been revealed long ago through a general awareness of jyotish and jyotish charts?
Sri Visvamitra, Cedar Crest, NM, United States , September 21, 2015 at 7:43 PM | Reply
The best case scenario is relatively little loss of life and we hope that will be the case. However there is a rather high probability for massive loss of life, based on circumstantial and factual evidence. Of course no one really knows. This is why we are planning the Goloka Sanctuary Communities as places for the development of higher states of consciousness and ultimately Krishna Realization. Comfortable homes in a spiritually centered community where the objective of human life can be attained. Everyone has to live somewhere, why not in an ideal community that supports development of higher states of consciousness? The evidence is for something to happen and we know our environment now with the geoengineering, poisons in the food and water, government sponsored psy-ops to control our thinking and make us "good citizens", wars, financial problems, and on and on, is not conducive to developing higher states of consciousness.

Your question is an excellent one. One extreme view of Jyotish is that it is 100% accurate in its predictions, which would be true in Satyuga. But in Kaliyuga the accuracy is less than 20% so such a view now would have to be based on the assumption of predestination. i.e., your karma creates your life and that life will unfold exactly as the karma indicates. The other extreme view is Jyotish has no insight whatsoever to offer, it is simply superstition. From my experience, Jyotish is somewhere in the middle. It shows "the direction the wind blows" in a life. It gives tendencies that have a higher chance of coming true. Jyotish may predict that a person will have marriage problems if he or she marries a certain other person, and it may predict divorce as a possibility. This is why there is the tradition in India to select the marriage partner on the basis of Jyotish compatibility. It can be useful and somewhat accurate in this arena

But, Jyotish is far from precise at predicting death, especially in Kaliyug. In fact, no ethical Jyotish consultant would use Jyotish to predict death - it is grossly inaccurate and becomes more so with every passing day of life of the person. The reasons for this inaccuracy is based on time and free will. Everyone does have free will, our lives are not predestined. Each day we do something and that changes the course of our life from that point forward. But we are constrained by our karma, if the wind is blowing from north to south, it is easier to walk in the southerly direction with the wind at our back. So we often choose the easier path from the force of our karma. But we can always resist our karma and walk towards the north if we so choose.

We do yajñas to shield our lives from our karma so that we are even more able to use our free will. If the wind stops blowing then we are free to walk in any direction with equal ease. If we are wise, we choose to devote efforts toward attaining Moksha when in this silent space, free from the winds of karma. Perhaps before we do the yajñas, our karma is such that we have to work very hard to earn enough to live comfortably, so we do the work and have no time to meditate. After the yajnas, we find money comes to us more easily and we have then the time to meditate and work less.

No one who does Jyotish charts is looking for the date of death of their client because it is grossly inaccurate, hence there would be no general knowledge of "9 out of 10 of my clients are going to die in the next few years". It is just something that is not brought into the awareness.
